The diversity you can find within Norwich is outstanding. It offers the historic aspect with the Cathedral and Castle Museum, and the modern aspect with the continous growth of the city from Riverside to Chapelfield. As a young person growing up here, it has greatly influenced who I am and where I am going. I am now 25, and have been funded by the Norfolk and Sports and Cultural Foundation to chase my dream of becoming a dancer. I aim to do this, not by moving to London, but by moving the things I need from London to Norwich. There is so much untapped talent in our city, and so much support from the organisations based here to help you achieve your goals, I find no reason to leave and am positive this backing cannot be found so readily in other cities of our size. The over-powering sense of 'home' that Norwich emanates mixed with the people it is raising, makes it impossible to leave.
