I’m an artist working from a kitchen come dining room in a rented 80s bedsit (also called ‘flat’). My art training started at City College and continued in Yarmouth, Middlesborough and Bradford, amongst others. I was fortunate to study at a time when education was properly funded and computers didn’t rule the world (I still see computers as a tool that can’t compete with a pencil). My skills include painting, drawing, water colours, cartoons, claymation, (furniture) design, organizing festivals and blue sky thinking.
After college I became an International Artist by moving to Australia for seven years. During this time I worked on art projects full time; often with the homeless and Aboriginals but also with Mayors and VIPs. I’m now back in Norwich again and currently helping out with the Hospital Arts Project.
One of my mottos (I got hundreds of them) is ‘Everybody can be involved in art’. I most enjoy working with the community in the broadest sense of the word and always aim to let people feel the creative energy of art.
Now visit my website or blog and buy some of my art (a commission is also good) so that I no longer have to work in a bedsit!
